Notepad++ is a special source code editor for programmers, with coloured syntax, and support for the following programming languages: C/C++/Java/html/xml/php/asp/vb/vbs/SQL/Objective-C/javascript/ini/makefile and MSDos Display.

You can also colour the words that you define (highly personalizable), and even print the source code you`re writing, in colour. Other interesting Notepad++ characteristics include multiple views (to work with various files at the same time), support for file or document drag and drop, etc. And all this faster than the standard Windows Notepad.
